On January 5, Honorary Consul Yuliy Nushev attended the premier of the new Bulgarian TV series "Вина.” The series were supported by Sofia Connect, Georgian Embassy in Bulgaria and Mr. Nushev personally.
The 12-episode family drama running on Bulgarian National Television (BNT) centers around the hereditary wine cellar and all the secrets unfolding around it. Each episode is named after a popular variety of wine, the first episode opening with the pleasant and widely beloved Sauvignon Blanc.
On August 10, Georgian Embassy in Bulgaria held a memorial service to honor the fallen heroes of the 2008 Russia-Georgia war. The service was held at Bachkovo (პეტრიწონი) Monastery with the blessinf of Bishop Sioniy and attended by clergymen from various Bulgarian dioceses and representatives of the Georgian community.
