Georgian students will receive scholarships to study at the American University in Bulgaria
A few days ago, the American University in Bulgaria and HE Yuliy Nushev, Honorary Consul of Georgia in the Republic of Bulgaria and Executive Director of Sofia Connect EAD, agreed on the establishment of the Yuliy Nushev Scholarship.
The scholarship will be awarded to five Georgian freshmen at AUBG for the 2020-2021 academic year.
The criteria for selection of scholarship holders are:
- Georgian students, full-time, first year at AUBG
- Good academic preparation
- Preference will be given to students with strong participation and interest in various social activities and causes.
- Preference will be given to candidates with interests and skills in technical sciences, project management, as well as candidates with experience in NGOs and / or projects of social significance.
All applications will be reviewed by the AUBG Academic Council, which will also be responsible for selecting the five fellows. Her Excellency, Ms. Tamara Liluashvili, Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria, also took an active part in the process of forming this scholarship.
