On 14 and 15.10.2019 the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria organized a conference of honorary consuls of the Republic of Bulgaria.
The forum is attended by 71 honorary consuls representing the Republic of Bulgaria in 45 countries. Honorary consuls of other countries in Bulgaria will also be guests. The Honorary Consul of Georgia in the Republic of Bulgaria, HE Mr. Yuliy Nushev will also take part in the event.
The purpose of the conference is to review the activities of Bulgarian honorary consuls abroad, to exchange useful experiences and practices, as well as to present current trends in foreign policy, economy, trade, tourism and investment opportunities in Bulgaria.
The event will be held in the form of conference panels during the day at the Balkan Hotel, Sofia.
A cocktail party was organized on October 14 at the Central Military Club hosted by the Association of Honorary Consuls in Bulgaria (AHCB).
On October 15, the conference will close with a reception at the National History Museum hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mrs. Ekaterina Zaharieva.
