The Honorary Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria, His Excellency Mr. Yuliy Nushev, was among the participants in the first meeting of its kind on the Board of Directors of the World Federation of Consuls ( FICAC ). The event took place from June 13th to 15th in Sofia, and was attended by nearly 100 honorary consuls, diplomats, current and former ministers and other representatives of business and political circles from around the world.
During the meeting, prominent politicians and business leaders spoke about the political situation, business opportunities and the future of the region, Europe and the world as a whole. The main topic was the importance of good relations between the countries and the role of honorary consuls.
The culmination of the event was the organized gala dinner for members of the World Federation of Consuls (FICAC) and the Association of Honorary Consuls in Bulgaria (AHCB).
