National Ballet of Georgia "Sukhishvili" will visit Bulgaria. The world sensation - National Ballet of Georgia "Sukhishvili", with the special participation of the Georgian Orchestra, is bringing two-hour program that will present the most spectacular and iconic dances created for the last 72 years of "Sukhishvili" existence.
The ensemble will visit Bulgaria with 70 dancers and their own orchestra. The artists will exchange 600 national Georgian costumes, which will be decorated with handmade, precious stones. The audience will get the greatest pleasure from the fiery dances of Georgians. Acrobatic numbers with swords and daggers will be used to perform these dances. Such tricks are a business card for "Flying Georgians". Unique are the men dancing on their toes and the airy movements of the women.
The dance troupe has performed more than 10,000 concerts in 72 years, on all 5 continents, in 90 countries, and the number of spectators has exceeded 50 million.
The best ensemble in the world (according to the Washington Post) set a record at La Scala, which remains a precedent in the history of the hall - the audience called the dancers encore 14 times. Among Sukhishvili's biggest fans are Joseph Stalin, Winston Churchill, Elvis Presley, Yves Montand, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Sharon Stone, Pele and others.
The ballet will perform 5 performances in 4 cities in the country.
