May 26, 2019 marks the 101st anniversary of Georgia's declaration of independence. On the occasion of the national holiday, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Bulgaria, Her Excellency Ms. Tamara Liluashvili organized a reception attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Bulgaria Mrs. Iliana Yotova, the Honorary Consuls of Georgia in the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Yuliy Nushev and Mr. Dinko Dinev, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2001 - 2005. Mr. Simeon Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, founder of The Atlantic Club in Bulgaria Mr. Solomon Passy, prominent public figures and many friends of Georgia.
The event strengthened the good relations between the two countries, both economically and culturally.
The guests had the opportunity to try authentic Georgian cuisine and wines, to see traditional costumes and to enjoy the exquisite voice of the Georgian jazz singer Maya Baratashvili.
